Mortenville Juniors 1 V Water Hall Stars 6

This was my second game in my new position, left back and I enjoy the position very much.

It was a very close start but we got our noses in front by JJ scoring a goal early on. As soon as we scored they were trying to push up to get an equalizer when we caught them on the break with a counter attack when JJ added another goal to our name. They kept making good opportunities but not finishing them off. Then finally they made the break through when they scored just before half time, this gave them a major confidence boost going into the second half.

Our defence was a lot more solid in the second half as we didn't concede any more goals.
Then Dan scored a good goal, from on the edge of the box, drilling it low and hard past the keeper. We were really confident at this point as we were winning 3-1 which gave us the urge to push forward when Morgan scored a tap in from close range.

They had their heads down well and truly when JJ scored a good goal from a tight angle firing it in at the near post. Then our final goal came when JJ crossed the ball into the box, Nick scored an expert volley past the keeper which left the score at the end 6-1.
